Our Story
Scheduling is Like a Game of Go
it seems simple, but it’s infinitely complex
As a tech recruiter, Yura used to spend up to two full days each week solely on scheduling interviews. His fellow recruiters also reported spending between 5 to 10 hours a week on this logistical challenge, further highlighting the widespread inefficiency within the industry.
Another side of the problem: hiring managers struggle to balance the interviewing workload across their team. When Jinsong was the VP of machine learning at Upstart, he recalls an engineer from his team complaining about being overwhelmed with interviews while some of his peers were not conducting any at all. Later that same day, his recruiter said she was struggling to find enough interviewers.
It clicked: we needed a tool to bridge these gaps and make the hiring process much smoother. Thus, the idea for AlphaSchedule was born.
Our vision is to provide everyone with a personal executive assistant that understands the business context and individual preferences of each customer, effectively streamlining the scheduling process to free up valuable time for more strategic tasks.
